When ever filters are involved things slow to a crawl. In one IMAP account that receives lots of mail that filters to other folders it can take 1-2 minutes to filter 20 messages. It seems to look at one message, then test it against all possible filters, then move it on the server, then move it on the local side, then go to the next filter. This process then starts again, but each message takes 3-4 seconds to accomplish this and there seems to be nothing else happening while this is going on in any of my other accounts while this is happening.
