I had problems with double taskbar icons for a long time on both my PC
and laptop, and then the additional icon stopped appearing, and I have
not see it for a long time. I don't know if I did anything special to
get rid of it, although it was before I started using TB! v5.x. I did
a complete reinstall of Windows a couple of times last year, and it
might have gone then.
