This is the one part of my PIM-process that I could save a lot of time on. I don't differentiate between business and personal contacts, so everyone is in my Outlook contacts, the program that my company uses. I synchronize Outlook to Google Contacts using a tool called gSyncIt which works well for my needs. Because there is no decent import or synchronization that works for my needs from either Outlook or Google Contacts to The Bat! I currently register every change that I make in Outlook in a text file that I keep open in order to update the same list of contacts in The Bat!. This of course means a lot of extra work and introduces a rather large chance that I make mistakes or simply forget to list updates in the text file. Worse still, when I'm on the road and make changes to contacts on my phone, I don't have the text file with me and these usually get forgotten anyway. A more mature Address Book with synchronization options to at least Google Contacts would therefore be most welcome. Some of the options I use in Outlook that I miss in The Bat! are: * Ability to create your own fields * Ability to define multiple views using any fields including custom fields. * Ability to immediately see someone's age when the birthday is entered * Ability to just enter the day and month part of the birthday in case someone doesn't want to disclose their year of birth * More phone-number types * Multiple company/job title sets * Categories > I have over 1.000 contacts in 30 groups, and we need a good "Sync. > Plug-In" like Thunderbird and even Outlook has. I'm at 1600+ contacts and more than 60 categories (which I use in Outlook instead of groups). -- Greetings, Maurice Windows 7 6.1 Build 7601 Service Pack 1 The Bat! v5.1.0.2 (BETA); AJS v0.48; MyMacros 1.11a; Using OTFE with Aladdin eToken Pro 32k ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 5.1.0.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
