Unfortunately I can confirm that IMAP filters are not 100% consistent. I have
not filed a bug report because I cannot nail down any pattern. I have reported
it on this list several times, but there does not seem to be any confirmation.
It may be that as Tony says he has 25 IMAP accounts with lots of filters that
this is the problem. The Bat does not seem to be able to handle quantity of
messages and correctly filter every one.

My main issue is that I receive multiple messages that are marked as read and
moved to a different folder. If I receive 50 messages, 49 of them will be
filtered correctly, but the other message will be moved, but not marked a read.

I also have a similar problem with list messages, which get colored as they get
filtered into their respective account. They usually get filtered correctly,
but
not always. No pattern that I can see.
