If I hadn't just spent the past two weeks troubleshooting a visual bug in my own code that was caused by ClearType, I'd believe that. However, the code I was working on was originally written in 1997, so I'm pretty sure it doesn't use any "newer" APIs, but when I turn ClearType on/off I see the font change to match the VS2010 rendering, either way. (My problem was with rendering one character cell at a time -- ClearType causes the font renderer to write OUTSIDE the character cell, even of fixed-width fonts.) -- Steven Vallière | tb 5.3.8.2 (BETA) | mailto:[email protected] -- "If you didn't write it down, then it didn't happen." -Larry Zana ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 5.3.8.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
