Wait, you got something wrong.

Of course a message stored in "Sent Mail" should be copied first to
Outbox. This is, what the push on menu "Resend" normally does. As
described: Messages without attachment are copied. But messages with
an attachment isn't copied to Outbox.

If you have in "Account Properties" in "Transport" "Delivery type" to
"Immediate" you don't see this copy process - and the message is resent
"directly" from the "Sent Mail" folder.

If you have "Transport" "Delivery Type" "Deferred" the message is
stored after the push on "Resend" in the Outbox.
