It doesn't seem to matter, unless you are short of ram. The days of super
expensive memory are gone.
But the old rule of computing still works:
Software is getting slower faster than hardware gets faster.
There is never a reason to waste space and other resources.
In computing and all other areas.
I am warned about the doubling of the TheBat! exe and thus wont install this
bloated version.
Sorry. Remembering. NT 4 was the last NT that called itself NT. After that
Win 2000 was NT 5 and
NT 6 was Win XP, 7 and probably 8. Win 10 calls itself 10 but no longer admits
to being NT. That using
the ver command in a DOS window. So you aren't that far behind.
