I suspect it would be hard for it to be any more than that. > I#m quite OK with ribbons in general but > at the moment it doesn't use the possibilities that a ribbon offers, > like sub groups. As an idea to show what I mean: Take the tab > "Message" for example: > Tab Message > Sub group "Communicate" contains actions > New > Reply > Reply to all > Forward > Forward as text > Forward as attachments > Resend > Redirect > Edit as new > Sub Group "Categorize" contains actions > Flags > Colour Group > Tags > Memo (was Memo Editor) > Sub Group "Organize" contains actions > Move to Folder > Copy to Folder > Save as > Delete > Sub Group "Print" contains actions > Print > Print Preview > Print Setup > What are you thoughts, readers? The problem with sub groups is that functions get hidden in the hierarchy. "Now where is that darn Save As function"? And "Edit as new"? Not here, not there. Menu bars can have groups too (sub menus). In practice, they are minimally used, which should also be the case with sub groups in ribbons. > Best regards, > mse > -- > Using The Bat!
