Actually that's a bit untrue, the CPU has something that relates
to true multitasking (which is 2 or more CPUs each doing
something diff). The OS does the hard work though. I don't know
for Win but Linux makes each task stop for just very little time
and then it sends it a signal to start again, and it prioritizes
which task gets the CPU by using a scheduler . The CPU can
deal with one and only one data flow, that's why calling the CPU
multitasking isn't quite correct IMHO.
