Because HTML messages may use implicit color settings for their styles (like background-color and color - you can see them if you look at the HTML source). It's not a trivial task to guess what would be the best replacement for original colors to maintain the readabilty and overall styling, so we only set the default colors for HTML and it seems to work for most messages. The most problematic messages are those that set explicit color only for background or only for text and I'm yet to see a mail client that works decent on those :-) -- Best regards, Stefan Tanurkov
