Hello,

I guess, we need a new command for the "soft wrap" mode > that just joins paragraphs (then they are reformatted automatically). I see. That whole "soft line wrapping" issue was new to me - I had seen that quotes were shown differently, but not yet wondered enough about it to really notice. :-) Thanks for the hint. Yes, a command like you suggest would be very helpful. But you wouldn't need a new shortkey for it, would you? If "soft wrapping" is active, join lines on Alt-L. If it is not, use the traditional logic. Or is there a reason why you would want to have both functions available at the same time? (BTW: I switched back and forth between "soft wrapping" enabled or not during creation of this message, and this is what I ended up with: The upper paragraph has hard wrapping, the lower one soft wrapping. But I can't use Alt-L to reformat the upper paragraph to look like the lower one while "soft wrapping" is ENabled. The other direction works (DISable "soft wrapping", then use Alt-L), but not the other way round. Is this intentional?) -- MfG, Alto mailto: ________________________________________________________ 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
