Here is what I did. and its outcome
a) Accidentally ran a filter which binned all my e-mails from my
inbox, and (was supposed to) delete the messages of the IMAP server
(very poor choice of regular expression did that). All the messages
(except parked) were deleted from the Inbox.. exactly as I asked
b) I panicked, and attempted to re-download all the old messages
back off our IMAP server, by selecting Dispatcher, and marking ALL
messages as OPEN and RECEIVE
c) I hit go.. and got back about 3 messages
d) I repeated b) and got c) again.
e) I then tried to close down TB! and it refused to close (after
being left alone to its own devices for about an hour). TB! was
fully functional, and the connection centre appeared inactive (i.e
it wasn't showing - when set to automatic)
f) I tried everything I knew to close TB!, and it just "dinged" and
ignored me.. It still received new messages, it still sent messages.
I'm confused.. and still without my Inbox mail.....
