As you might know, I am not a great fan of HTML in e-mail. But I've
found some good newsletters using it quite sensible (incl. a kind of
ToC with linked entries!), so *reading* capability I deem necessary
for e-mail. I want to communicate, maybe even with people using HTML,
which is default for laymen having installed OE!

Since I already found some good use with HTML in e-mail I can imagine
people wanting to compose something around this with TB!, which is a
professional application, used for business purposes. For this mailing
lists and newsletters are vital, and a good HTML newsletter is an
asset.

I think TB! users are usually more experienced than OE (and the like)
users, and are sensible enough to use HTML considerate. The only thing
I want for this (promised) feature is that it is *not* the default!

And if someone don't want to use it, don't use it. If someone sends
you HTML you have quite a few options - from deleting to talking
(believe me, a lot of folks don't even know about the HTML concerns
and when you talk to them they actually change the behaviour of their
mail prog).
