I thought this was finally cleared some time ago. I did elaborate on
it on TBUDL and (when I still was a member) on PGP-Basics. And the
whole argument is laid out in the - highly recommended, at least by me
- - manual by Phil Zimmerman. The part he wrote on security is
downloadable from my site in both English and German version.

When I think that we just had another thread about security concerning
Steve Gibson, where one point was that some people seem to take only
Steve's word for quality ...
