Alright.  8-)

A>> Has the memory hog been reduced?

No, it's as severe as previously. After a minute of working with the
RichTextViewer, the RAM on my machine falls to zero. (With only TB
running.) Wenn switching to the fixed-width viewer, RAM comfortably
stays in the 60s.

(Not even firing up Netscape 6.0 brings RAM to such low regions as
using The Bat's RichTextViewer.)

In addition, the bug in RichTextViewer is still present that does not
allow you to choose Courier New *Bold* (nor any other Bold font) for
the item "Regular Text".

Right. I understand RITlabs don't use Win9x/ME either, so probably
that's why removing the memory hog has been such a long process.

A>> Do the "else" parts of %IF-macros work again?

They do not. Beta 6 sports he same bug as 1.54/Beta 5. If you use
"else" conditions in %IF-macros, you need to revert to Beta 4 in order
for them to work properly.
