CPS = Characters per second.

Acutally, it is not a unit I have seen often. I know bps (bytes per
second). Now, one ASCII character is one byte long, so you would think
this is the same, but: one Chinese character is 2 bytes long. So, if
TB downloads emails in Chinese language, I always wonder how it can
double the speed (in bps) so suddenly. What if the Chinese text is
interspersed with English terms? ;-)
