The message I cite in part had some weird behaviour. First the CS was set to "None", it got me a quite "normal" message with a Cyrillic From (as can be seen by the name automatically inserted by my template). When I changed it to Auto-detect, the normal line after "Yours faithfully ..." became those funny characters.
