I agree with you that, initially, the focus should perhaps stay on the
folder. But, for example, when you open a folder and you type
Ctrl+Alt+RifgtArrow to go to the next unread (wish it always was the
first unread), focus should automatically change to message list. I
find many times that when I want to mark a message as read I am asked
if I want to mark all unread messages in the folder as read. Then I
have to answer no, change the focus and then Ctrl+M on the message.
Being still a somewhat new TB user I find this kind of weird.
