As far as I understood Maxim right on Saturday 1.54/Beta will when finished _NOT_ be released as v2. But 1.5x will no go a long way further after stabilizing the current Beta. v2 is under development, which functions there will be implemented we didn't talk about. So all in all Marck's and others assumption the current Beta is somehow a test for v2 seem to be somehow correct, even if there's one additionally stable release in v1.
