Hello List, I've just reported RTV bug which is noticeable in a way you can't read messages in RTV any more until you restart The Bat!.
It's reported (and viewable / ready for comments) here: https://bt.ritlabs.com/view_bug_advanced_page.php?f_id=0000875 This is not this important to drop a note about it here, but I'd like to ask other W2K / XP users running into the same trouble to open the task manager when this bug occurs and have a look how many 'GDI Objects' the process 'thebat.exe' (or whatever your executable is named) consumes. I guess the bug only occurs if this process consumes >000 GDI objects, as it always does the last 4 time I ran into this problem; but I (and RIT) needs verification. So please ... anybody having this problem too and able to figure out the number of assigned GDI objects for one process: confirm or deny my theory. If anybody know if and how Win9x users can check this informations in case of problems too: please let us know about how, I'd like to pin down the culprit as soon as possible, for me TB! is quite unusable (version 'h'), as my The Bat! is running _really_ long times and it'S absolutely annoying being forced to restart The Bat! when following a thread only because there's _one_ resource-hog driving crazy (maybe RTV is bored by my mails and searches for some adventure? *grin*).
