However, I have a hair brained idea which could work, if in fact TB! doesn't do what you want straight away. Suggestion: create a filter to change the font color of read msgs to the same color as the background color of the window [I use white in all mine]. Then decide what you want to consider a read msg, i.e. manual when you tell TB! you're finished or automatically after a certain amt of time. Also I would suggest that, if you automate it, your filter include that the item is not flagged so if you flag a msg it turns a different color or stays unread or whatever.
