  Well actually, doesn't TB! do this for you when you open
  it up vs when you open a specific folder? You can set an
  age for msgs to be moved/deleted, etc. under advanced
  options & actions.

Daniel> enabled) and than hit the hot key.

  Same as above, you shouldn't have to select the msgs
  manually if you use the advanced options under a read
  filter. Then you could use your hot key if you want to.

  Take a look @ Filters -> Advanced
  Message Older Than/New Than ____ days

  Wouldn't that work for what you want to do?
