The reason I suggested it is because I use procmail for server side filtering, and you can do nested filters, matching on a common item. Its archive is here: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg25987.html The thread, and one of the ideas posted by another member of the list was certainly interesting. An idea proposed wouldn't be to nest filters, but to provide a filter that had a "Jump to" option. That way you could have all the filters as you have now, but if you order your filters correctly, we'll take your list below as an example... +- List [1] +- TBBETA [2] +- From XXXX [3] +- Misc Filter What could happen is the TBBETA filter has a NOT statement on it. It says if the headers doesn't match what you want... then "Jump To" the Misc Filter. This would mean anything matching what you wanted would hit the "From XXXX" filter. It's a more workable solution I think. > To be perfect, the presentation would be that each node would be > collapsable (and movable up and down and right and left) I'd certainly love to be able to do this. Combined filters, with the option to collapse would be nice. I think it's more ideal in a list situation, but I could certainly see a need for it in the work/friend situation too, combined with groups in the address book, it could be very useful indeed. - -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQA/AwUBPnCloCuD6BT4/R9zEQJ8bQCg+FK+j1F0dJVzuPLgmi+6t3acpsEAoMlw 1n682WTmEuSnerTeJQgN8IWn =vdKE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 1.63b7 | "Using TBBETA" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
