AFAIN (and use), TB works fine with many users (not in the terms of TB inside, but with different users on Windows). It is just necessary to install TB once to any permanent folder, accessible for others, and then any user can just run it. First time TB will ask him to set up the mailbox. The only feature there - to set "default" path for all mail inside user profile (I usually use \\My documents\My mail). So, it looks like every user has his own installation on the program. But the serious problem exist, if the path can be changed by system - for example, from "documents and settings\user\my mail" to "documents and settings\user.DOMAIN\my mail". The feature which is IMHO necessary - to enter path using environment variables. It is possible to enter practically anywhere in Windows the path like "%userprofile%\my documents" instead of full "c:\documents and settings\user\my documents". %userprofile% is defined by system and reflect the real path. But it is unfortunatelly unsupported feature in The Bat! May be Stefan Tanurkov can correct it? All what is necessary - is simple to call Win API "ExpandEnvironmentStrings" before actually using the path... So, the good way to use TB as multiuser feature is to make default settings with environment-relative paths, like "%userprofile%\my mail" Any using of absolute path mapped into user profile is potential dangerous, because the system can change this path if it will be necessary. Moreover, it is impossible if you have domain, and different workstation maps a userprofile into mutually different local paths. And all this problems can be easy resolved if TB will support environment variables in paths.
