Hello Frank,

If it was only the mid from the message I was replying to, that'd be
one thing, but I'm copying mids from multiple messages for references.

Even if the QT used the clipboard contents instead:

Steps without QT
1. Copy MessageID: two steps (highlight and press CTRL-C)
2. Type mid: four steps (counting shift : as one)
3. Paste: 1 step (press CTRL-V)

Total: Seven

Steps with QT
1. Copy MessageID: two steps (highlight and press CTRL-C)
2. Type mid and CTRL-Space: four steps (counting shift space as one)

Total: Six

Could cheat and make a single letter QT like m <CTRL-SPACE>, which
would make it four steps. ;-)

<grin> Not being sarcastic, just pointing out the obvious. I
appreciate the try though! :-)
