Confirmed. Even stronger: it happens with the Empty Folder command on *all* IMAP folders... :( However, manually selecting all messages and doing a 'normal' delete seems to work. Also, I hope there will be a method to actually zap all messages in a folder on the server (so-called 'expunge'), in addition to marking as deleted.
