I haven't used that in a while, but I can't remember the MIME option in the PGP specific pop-up signing dialog ever being enabled. If you sign with it enabled, it messes up things for everyone and not just a few. No-one will be able to verify your PGP/MIME signatures. Why not sign a few of your messages to this list.
