Hello Razgo,
According to the scribes Razgo [R] wrote about an option to turn off the
function that looks at THEBAT.IPC every ten seconds? on the 16 August

I am sorry, but I think you are nitpicking..

I am a software developer myself, and have used similar mechanisms
myself in programs. The option to turn the checking off maybe very
easily implemented, but want to point out, that checking if the ipc
checking should be done or not, will most likely cost more CPU than just
letting it check. So from my perspective this is nitpicking and
ignorance, try to save cpu with one thing and causing more cpu load in
the process.
