I think you have underquoted, and you have given the reason why it is inconvenient for pay-per-minute dial-up users. <g> I had to go back up thread to check what this was about - and TB still doesn't provide a "go to previous message in thread" shortcut, so I had to scroll up. ;-) I do agree with you that it is sometimes difficult to decide what needs to be quoted and what doesn't, and that OTOH there are cases that are clear-cut.
