Nothing got purged. Both Folder / Purge&compress as well as the
Maintenance center only try to compress (no deleted messages found),
but do not purge.

This is true for an account trash folder. I have the feeling that
purging works fine on a normal folder. The oldest message in the trash
folder is now 6 days old (22. August), and I used TBv2b3 at the time.
So this may be the version when the purging instruction started to be
ignored on the Trash folder.
