So, 11 accounts do connect at the same time. One would now want to
know your OS and processor. PCs and Windows have their limit... you
might have reached it.

Aha. So no multithreading problem, but some kind of port overflow or
so. Again, I believe the problem to be on OS level, but I'm guessing.
