Trailing spaces are stripped before a message is signed using PGP clearsign to avoid losing signature validity due to misconfigured servers. Generally, it won't be correct to restore "--" as "-- ", so it depends on how you testers vote for it :-)) -- Sincerely, Stefan Computers aren't intelligent, they only think they are.
