I leave certain messages unread -- messages that I want to attract my attention again at a later time. But with the volume of mail that I process daily, navigation is *very* important (that volume also means that "read" doesn't necessarily mean "read and completely assimilated" -- so I want to leave as unread those things I want to look at again when I have more time). But I want to be able to move through my database quickly and easily, without being stuck in one folder simply because there is unread mail there. It's extremely frustrating. I actually started looking for another client last night -- just general browsing, nothing serious. It's *that* frustrating.
