In Windows explorer, doubleclicking a expand/collapse box just does both actions in sequence returning the situation to its original state. A single click either expands or collapses. Also, in the specific case of the Addressbook, there is another situation. I have an additional addressbook defined which is sorted alphabetically before my personal addressbook. So, when I open the addressbook, it's always this additional one that is selected. Doubleclicking the expand/collapse box in front of my personal addressbook opens the properties of the other one because that's the one that's selected! This is not the only place where doubleclicking works with unexpected results.
