I've about 2,500 spam letters and 70,000 non-spam.

The point I was making was that as spammers try new ideas your Bayesian
filter will need to keep up with them and consequently need a little
more training. A couple of weeks ago a lot of spam was getting through.
However, marking messages as spam from the Specials menu soon did the trick.

But it looks like you've given up on BayesIt...
