After I turn on my computer, I open TB and hit "Check Mail for All".
TB dials up, and the modem number at my university is usually busy, so
I get an error-pop. A few seconds later, TB will try again.

After a while, I get tired and don't want to try any more. I hit
"Abort" and start another - manual - dial-up process to my pay-for
ISP. I used to be able to abort by just hitting <enter>, as the Abort
button was the default button on that pop-up error window.

In beta 40, however, the Retry button is the default button instead of
the Abort buttun . Why? TB retries automatically (unless you set the
max number of retries to zero).

Of course I can use the mouse to click on Abort, or I can find the
little A-key on my keybaord among so many others. I find it easier to
hit the <enter> key, it's big and it's on the edge of that key field,
so it's so easy to find. ;-)

Could you change the default back, please?
