Strangely one of the other beta lists I am on has just over 4800 messages, and forcing it to expand all threads happens instantaneously (well, almost) but no where near 11 seconds. To some extent it will depend on your computer and the extent of threading. By the way, I do set the folder that has the 4800 messages to keep messages for only 100 days unless specifically parked. -- Regards, Ian A.
