Sorry for my English. At the first Time we use The Bat 1.52f on a Windows NT 4.0 SP6a Server. On the Server runs The Bat 1.52f as "TCP/IP or Dial out Server". On the Client runs The Bat as "Workstation without TCP/IP" (no Installation, only the Path to the Server Bat) with Windows NT 4.0 SP6a. All works o.k !!! ======================================================================= With The Bat Version higher than 1.53x I get many Problems on the same Network.
Server: After some Days The Bat on the Server freeze and i must kill the Task manual. I cannot start The Bat again. I must reboot the Server and then i can start The Bat again. Client: If the Server and the Bat works ok. i can start the Bat on the Client. After one ore two hours continues open the Bat on the Client, i can not print with the Network-Printers or open Files with Excel, Word, or other Applications. If i close the Bat on the Client, all Problems are gone. ======================================================================= Now i have a new Server and a new Network with Windows 2000 SP3 Server and Windows 2000 SP3 as Client. On the Server runs The Bat 1.62 as "TCP/IP or Dial out Server". On the Client runs The Bat as "Workstation without TCP/IP" (no Installation, only the Path to the Server Bat) with Windows NT 4.0 SP6a. Server: Sometimes (0-3 Weeks) The Bat on the Server freeze and i must kill the Task manual. I cannot start The Bat again. I must reboot the Server and then i can start The Bat again. Client: If the Server and the Bat works ok. i can start the Bat on the Client. After one ore two hours continues open the Bat on the Client, i can not print with the Network-Printers or open Files with Excel, Word, or other Applications. If i close the Bat on the Client, all Problems are gone. ======================================================================= Since Version 1.52f or 1.53 you change something that makes trouble. It seems that The Bat eat the resources. I know that you fix some Memory Leaks, but it doesn't help. Other people have the same Network problems!!! Please help. Btw. In the past you send Dieter a special 1.63 Version for Testing these Problems, but it doesn't help.
