Good [morning|afternoon|day|evening|night] Lars,

Well, because it's obvious - you can use standard Arrow keys for
moving. You can, however, change the "Navigation" main menu commands'
shortcuts in the Browser and Finder.

Well, this is because of some interface quirks. Historically, Ctrl+]
and Ctrl+[ were used, then we've decided to make it easier and added
Ctrl+Left/Right. Then, it appeared it's not good for PTV because
people needed them for moving between words, so we added
Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right. You see, we actually try to please everybody :-)

LS> And a 'next/previous thread' shorcut ni not there either?

Any votes for this one? :-)
