A second remark.

Well, you are speaking of URL's - that's a problem how to code HTML
- but the question was, what a program (must not be a internet
browser) should send as string via the system when calling an email
client which is the mailto handler.

RFC has something to to with web pages - but really does it also say
something about internal system strings to call other clients?
