I don't know if anyone has reported this before, but here's a weird little "bug" - or at least idiosyncrasy - that is easy to reproduce.
Begin a message in Plain Text (Windows) format. Then type two backward slashes followed by any letter. \\/ or \\\ or \\anything. That's all there is to it. Instant hyperlinks to nowhere. It doesn't happen with the Plain Text (MicroEd) format. Now there could be a good reason for this bizarre behavior. Perhaps someone decided that the only reason for typing two backward slashes would be to indicate a link to a network drive. But does it really make sense?
