First of all, the folder in question has complete rights to be read and written to. Second, it worked until I installed the new release. Third, I just checked and found a very peculiar directory structure with various folders "base" and "transact" within each other, all containing at least one MS-DOS batch file called "clear". I also found several files/directories set to read-only; I changed their status to read-and-write. Upon restarting TB I got the same error message and found the read-only set again. -- Dierk Haasis The Bat 2.10 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 1 Chat info for ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber upon request When two incompatible beliefs are advocated with equal intensity, the truth does not lie half way between them.
