If not, can someone point me to what I > may be doing wrong? this is not a bug, files "winmail.dat" and "message.att" are created by MS Outlook with MS Exchange and encoded by proprietary format called MS-TNEF, only Microsoft products can decode them AFAIK. 1) You can ask sender to change setting of their MS Exchange from MS-TNEF to Base64, files will be accessible from TB and other alternative mail clients 2) You can use utility FENTUN, which can decode file, you can save it to disk then and open in MS Word.
