I'm no IMAP RFC wizard by any means, but I'm pretty sure it's a standard command to set the SEEN flag on a message. Now tb! maintained whether or not a message was read with my older POP account. If it would import messages from its own file format, the following would seem pretty straightforward: (1) If the message is being added to a POP account, store it locally with the same flags as in the imported file. (2)If the message is being added to an IMAP account, set the SEEN flag if the message was flagged as read in the message file. Ok, then if it is in fact tb! setting this time, the time shouldn't be changed when I move it. Moving between accounts should be as transparent as moving between folders within a given account.
