Hello List, dear RITLabs team, dear translators,
please consider some intensive control and rework of keyboard
driven editing of filters in new filtering system.
When I tried to modify something and add a 'Source folder is' I ran
into the problem I wasn't able to open the folder selector popup
window by using the keyboard. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get
focus on the '...' button. Instead it seems '<Tab>' cycled through
the register cards without bringing the one to front which element
focus was on. I tried some '<Tab><Space>' key combinations, to figure
if the desired window opens if I just step through elements often
enough. But instead I noticed, when switching to Options tab, focus is
there and I had disabled some of them with the use of <Space>.
Give it a try:
- create a new filter
- set up a condition
- set up one arbitrary action
- make the filter inactive
- close NFS and reopen it
- open just created filter
- go to conditions tab and add another condition: "Source folder is one of"
- set focus to input field of this condition
- press tab 3 times
- press space
- go to Options tab
=> filter should be set to be active now.
Another thing I've noticed while testing this: try to add any action
by using only keyboard. At least with German interface language it
doesn't work (albeit with native English it does partially). Neither
"<Alt>+D" (accessing "&File" menu, in German "&Datei") nor "<Alt>+H"
("&Add" button, in German "&Hinzuf�gen"; doesn't work with English
Interface eiter) works.
Next thing was: I added a "Print Message" action. A window popped up,
so I could enter the print template (nb: having account print template
inserted as default would make things easier for those who don't want
and individual one each time). But how to close this window without
using the mouse? At least in German interface there's no shortcut for
[OK] button set.
Finally* "<Alt>+T" (respectively "<Alt>+V" in German interface) for
entering text box does not work either.
So: am I alone? Is my TB!/OS combination quite unique and nobody else
objects these problems? Or are this confirmable issues I'd better
enter into BT? Anyone else?
* probably not really "finally", as this Beta sure contains some other
issues :-) But finally for this mail :-)
