I am appalled with the fact that you choose to answer all the criticism
you have received with this ludicrous mail.
I would very much like to support TB, but I think you guys must be
crazy: you do nothing to soothe the concerns of your user base, a user
base that, small issues aside, have been supporting - and actively
advocating - TheBat to friends and family.
It is my distinct feeling that almost everyone that starts using TheBat,
does so because a current user has advocated the software.
Making the 3.0 version jump in the middle of a beta series is beyond the
pale. Do you guys plan stuff at all or do you just sit around a table
and look at the bills and say - "wow, we need some money right now" and
then go to the users and say... well, nothing except "pay up!".
Judging from the feedback there has been on TBBETA...
5% don't mind the update
85% are thoroughly dissatisfied
10% are undecided
I really hope for Ritlabs that these numbers are not representative for
the whole user base as you will be out of jobs soon if they are.
PLEASE tell us what you are thinking. Why have you chosen this path?
And please tell me what version of TheBeta [!] has working IMAP? And
which version of TheBeta is just semi-free of bugs?
Is false promises, Ritlabs' way of getting new customers?
