Thanks Ritlabs! You just helped me to decide what will be my next step... I was already strongly hesitating about moving all my mail accounts (especially the IMAP ones) over to Thunderbird, but now I know : there is no TheBat! "upgrade" for me anymore.
I have already paid for a V2 release when 1.6 was still under beta testing, but one thing is sure, you won't get me twice. I found strange that you went into implementing (new bugs? ;) ) many new unclaimed for features like chat and smileys instead of fixing some long known bugs (IMAP crashes and invalid HTML anyone?). I think you simply have gone nuts. You really don't care about your customer base, and it shows... more and more.
