I've now tried it setting the folder to auto refresh and I still have
the problem.

Still, it's confirmed every time. It has nothing to do with purging
though, it's compressing which makes TB! loose focus in a VF.

Does TB! keep pointer to the messages in the format of <n'th message in
folder x>? If so, these pointers obviously doesn't get updated when I
compress my folders.

Just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is what's going wrong.
