Makes sense. I just unticked it and will keep the measure in mind the
next time I want to send a large attachment.

I did wonder what it might do to a .jpeg attachment--occasionally I
send a .jpeg, or a collection of .jpegs, PM of 2 or 3 MB, for the
better resolution and quality, now that I'm on broadband and sending
sometimes to friends or family also on broadband connection.
