Hello Avi,

On Wed, 13 Oct 2004, Avi mused about "Wrapped .33" (at least in part):

:pacsnip2a:
AY> But I have a different question. I'd like to know why the Windows
AY> installer wanted to connect to the Internet when I was installing TB.
AY> What was that about? I instructed my firewall to let it happen, but I
AY> am never happy with mysterious, outgoing communication happening from
AY> my computer.
:pacsnip2b:

Microsoft Software Installer (msi) connects to the internet when it is
used to check for new versions of itself. It is a function of the
MSI, not The Bat! installer.

Windows XP 5.1 (build: 2600) Service Pack 2

Ponder this: I read a report that said the typical symptoms of stress
were eating too much, drinking too much, impulse buying, and driving
too fast. Who are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day.
